Vinylit is the brand of cladding used as standard on YourRetreats. This is 100% recycled PVC, which reduces co2 emissions and environmental impact. The cladding is both durable and maintenance free, making it easier for the customer for upkeep. The cladding also brings excellent noise and sound insulation, combining both aesthetic appeal whilst also being environmentally friendly construction.

YourRetreats has a range of 7 lodges as standard, which are the Kos, Solstice, Luxo, Marka, Norden, Heptapod and Single Luxo. We also offer custom units to customers, who are looking for something different to that of our standard range, offering the chance to create something completely bespoke both internally and externally.

Customers can create a bespoke lodge to suit all their needs, where they can sit with our sales team and in-house CAD designer to create the lodge of their dreams. This can range from being a smaller home office, to a large residential home. To keep within the caravan act, a lodge can be built up to 65ftx22ft.

All our lodges can come either furnished or unfurnished. The price of the lodge does not include furniture, however, is a full turnkey finish so that it is ready to move into. This includes kitchen and appliances, tiled bathrooms, flooring (v4 laminate and carpets), lighting, fitted wardrobes, media wall incl electric fire, bookcase and feature bed headboards.

The furniture packages can be customised to your style. The price is then added to the lodge price transparently when you have decided on your lodge design with Acorn Leisure. We believe this allows our lodge buyers to choose whether to furnish their new holiday home themselves.

We offer a furniture pack that come in 3 different colours, cream, taupe and green. Within this pack is our signature curved sofa which offers the wow factor, and can make a statement in the living space. The furniture pack includes sofa, bar stools, dining table and chairs, coffee table, sideboard in the living room, beds and bedside tables. The cost of this furniture pack is approximately £6,000 & vat (subject to any market increases in pricing).

When buying a lodge from YourRetreats, customers will always be given options to choose from to customise the lodge to their personal preference. They will be given colour options for the kitchen doors, Quartz worktop options, laminate and carpet colour options, wardrobe wood options, sockets/switch colours, internal doors and handles options, bathroom tile colour options and upholstery colour options for the feature bedheads and bench seating.

If a customer has a specific preference for something they would like changing in the lodge, we are always accommodating and are happy to listen to their thoughts and ideas and where possible we will make these changes for them. This may incur additional uplift charges.

All products used in YourRetreats lodges are premium and of a very high standard. We also use local suppliers where possible and this is something that is important to us.

You will be able to work with Acorn Leisure and YourRetreats at the design stage of your luxury holiday lodge, so that you have a team helping you create your dream holiday lodge.

All our lodges are built to BS3632. These standards specify the minimum construction, thermal insulation and ventilation requirements that park homes must adhere to. This is a critical set of regulations that ensure the quality and safety of residential park homes in the UK. Additional to this, we also build our lodges out of SIP panels which offers superior insulation providing better u-values, higher structural strength and extra sound proofing.

Our lodges all have a higher structural strength due to being built from SIP’s (structural insulated panels), meaning that they can be placed in any terrain and stand the wind and rain. The OSB which is the outer part of the SIP panel acts as the flange, resisting most of the bending movement. The rigid foam core on the inside of the SIP panel acts as the web, which effectively absorbs shear force. This engineered design ensures that the panel can shoulder impact evenly. Equipped to easily disperse loads, weight-bearing SIP wall panels can provide an appropriate amount of stiffness and flexibility to effectively sustain compressive forces.

The vinylit cladding that we use as standard, comes in different colour options such as greys, browns and black. Should a customer prefer a natural timber cladding, rather than a composite cladding, this is also an option.

However, choice of exterior colour and panelling maybe restricted depending upon a holiday park’s planning conditions, as is the case on Maes Mynan Park.

YourRetreats offer a 12-month warranty, where snags are corrected within this time frame. If after the initial snagging period, a customer has an issue within the lodge this can be raised with our aftersales team, and will have it rectified should it fall under our T&C’s. We will aim to have this rectified as soon as practicable. After this, we then have a 10-year manufacturer’s structural warranty with Platinum Seal. The windows and doors have a 10-year warranty on both aluminium and UPVC. The roof has a 20-year warranty. The cladding has a 10-year warranty. The chassis has a 12-year structural warranty and 12-month corrosion warranty. All appliances have their own manufacturer’s warranty.

We do not currently offer refurbishments of the lodges, but we would be happy to supply the manufacturing details of products used should the customer wish to make any replacements.

We recommend that you choose your lodge plot first. So in the case of Maes Mynan Park, you would select your favourite plot based on view, orientation and lakeside position. Your plot choice will also determine the actual length of your luxury lodge.

Then you work on the floor plan. There are several to pick from. We recommend starting with the Kos or Luxo in the YourRetreats range.

Work with Maes Mynan Park to work out the best layout for the plot you have chosen and we too will assist. We can come to Maes Mynan Park to meet you, and/or you can visit the YourRetreats factory in Accrington.

Once you have decided on your floor plan and layout, you can then select your interior finishes from a range of options – things like bathroom tiles, kitchen cupboards, appliances, kitchen island finishes and so on. All these things will depend upon your budget and how much you change from the standard specification.

Then you decide on whether you require the furniture package.

Maes Mynan Park will then work with us and provide you with a final price for the lodge you have designed.

Alternatively you may decide on a completely unique floor plan and design for your lodge, in which case we will work, with Maes Mynan Park and you, to achieve your dream holiday lodge together. That’s the beauty of working in partnership.
