The dining area sits alongside a striking granite centre island, which doubles as a breakfast bar with seating for four. Black furniture pieces contrast beautifully with light kitchen cabinetry, while cream seating softens the space and enhances its warmth.

The lounge area is arranged around a unique circular four-piece sofa, positioned to take in both the views and the recessed television, which sits within bespoke shelving and cabinetry. Symmetrical shelving on either side of the room adds balance and gives the space a composed, magazine-ready feel — reminiscent of a House & Garden or Country Living interior shoot.

Two full-width bi-fold doors open directly onto the wrap-around grey composite decking, allowing indoor and outdoor living to merge effortlessly. With glass balustrades framing uninterrupted views across the lake and woodland beyond, the outlook feels close, immersive and ever-changing.

The hallway leads to two beautifully finished bedrooms, each with its own personality while maintaining a cohesive, calming palette.

Bedroom Two

The second bedroom features a wood-panelled statement wall above a full-width velvet grey headboard, creating a cosy yet contemporary feel. Oak-styled bedside tables flank a king-size bed, while a full wall of wardrobes and drawers provides generous storage. Interior lighting activates as doors open, revealing hidden shelving and a discreet dressing area with integrated power points.

Soft, plush carpeting in a light grey tone completes the space, making it ideal for guests or extended stays.

Principal Bedroom

The main bedroom is a striking retreat in its own right. A dramatic black velvet headboard rises to the ceiling, framed by wood-panelled feature walls that enhance the lodge’s alpine and Scandinavian influences.

Thoughtfully planned storage mirrors that of the second bedroom, complemented by a compact corner dressing table that uses space efficiently without crowding the room. Pendant bedside lights, a central feature fitting and warm LED background lighting create layers of light that shift effortlessly from day to night.

From sheltered seating areas beneath the generous overhang to uninterrupted views across the lake, the Clwydian Range and surrounding woodland, the setting feels both immersive and peaceful. The 5ft overhang to the front protects the full glass frontage of Solhare lodge and the wooden fins to the offside meet the decking to add a privacy screen and wind break, without detracting from the stunning views on offer.
