On March 31, 2025, a vibrant food and drink community of North East Wales came together to celebrate the relaunch of Taste North East Wales. Hosted in the stunning surroundings of Llanbenwch Café, just outside Ruthin, the event was a showcase of passion, talent, and the region’s incredible food, drink, culinary and artisan landscape.

A Brilliant Event in a Fabulous Venue

The relaunch event was nothing short of excellent. Hosted at the charming Llanbenwch Café, attendees were treated to a warm and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the group’s dynamic spirit. The café, known for its fresh coffee, teas, and delectable breakfast and light lunch offerings, provided an ideal setting for members and guests to connect and share their passion for local food and drink.

A Dynamic and Talented Collective

Taste North East Wales brings together a wonderfully talented group of local food and drink producers, hospitality providers, and culinary champions. From artisan bakers and cheesemakers to craft brewers and chocolatiers, the diversity and quality of produce in North East Wales is something to be proud of.

The relaunch event reflected that spirit—warm, inclusive, and full of creativity. It was a pleasure to meet so many passionate people working hard to put North East Wales on the food and drink map.

From Acorn Leisure: A Heartfelt Thank You

Thank you for inviting me to be part of such a special gathering. Wishing Taste North East Wales the best of luck from all of us here at Acorn Leisure Holiday Parks, Maes Mynan Park, and Clwydian Range Tourism Group.

We are incredibly excited to follow the group’s journey and support its mission to promote the best of what our region has to offer, so we can share our finds with our holiday homeowners here at Acorn Leisure.

Looking Ahead – A Return Visit to Llanbenwch Café

We’re already looking forward to returning to Llanbenwch for more coffee, lunch, and conversations. It’s an impressive and inspiring venue that perfectly embodies the ethos of the group: local, high-quality, and full of heart, overlooking the Clwydian Range & Dee Valley National Landscape, where you can see, only too well, the care that the local farmers take of the land

Supporting Local – Why Taste North East Wales Matters
